I hoped the EU would be a fairy tale,
Meant for everyone, including me,
They were out to help me,
That’s the way it seemed,
EU began to feature in my dreams,

Then I saw the truth, now I am a leaver!

I thought the EU was a really super thing,
But the more we gave the less we got,
How could we reform it?
All we get is grief!
